50 Students from marginalised communities join our one-year scholarship program comprised of eight units.
Each unit has three phases: pre-training challenge, student-centred training, and post-training challenge. Students complete phase one of the programme within the first eight months before proceeding to a three months industry experiancial learning through internships, apprenticeships, volunteering, or industry attachments opportunities. These opportunities could include volunteering positions with GYF.
The programme ensures 85% of the programme graduates secure a job within 6 months upon graduation. Students are attached to mentors and coaches who coach and guide them for a periond of 6 six months.
Passion Project
To complete the program, students put the skills they have learned into practice undertaking a project of their choice that addresses one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as outlined by the United Nations.
